EziClassic – Geo-Coordinate Validation & Error Messaging
• Latitude/Longitude Input Validation
The system now only accepts latitude values between –90 and +90 and longitude values between –180 and +180 when saving site data.
Attempts to save values outside these ranges result in a clear validation error message:
“Please enter a valid latitude (–90 to 90) and longitude (–180 to 180).”
• Import & RTI Validation
When site data is uploaded via Tools → Import or through the RTI interface, any records containing invalid latitude or longitude values are rejected.
The response includes the same clear error message as above to inform the user of invalid input.
EziBudget – Payroll Approval Workflow Enhancement
• Transaction Approval Synchronization
When a transaction is approved in EziBudget, it is automatically approved in the Wage Transaction Detail module, displayed with a clear green thumb indicator to confirm its status.
• Pay-Run-Level Approval and Lockdown
If all pay run details under a given manager are approved via EziBudget, then the system automatically locks the manager’s pay run week, marking it as fully approved. This helps prevent unchecked edits or changes once all individual approvals are completed.
• Approval Status Consistency Across Levels
Eliminates the risk of status mismatches: approvals made at the upper level (payroll manager) are fully propagated down to manager-level records so that no records remain in limbo. Ensures complete alignment between parent and child approval statuses.
EziClassic – Approved Week Highlighting in Drop-Down on Wage Details
• Highlight Approved Weeks When “Show All” Is Selected
In the week selector drop‑down, any approved weeks are now visually highlighted when the user toggles “Show all”.
The highlight uses a subtle background color that preserves text legibility, ensuring week labels remain fully readable.
EziClassic – Transaction-Level Commenting on Wage Details and Wage Transaction Details
• Per-Transaction Comment Field
Wage Transaction details now allows per transaction comments to be added.
Each transaction row now includes a dedicated comment field, enabling users to add comments directly to specific transactions.
Comments can be edited and saved to update the existing text.
Users may delete comments—once deleted, they no longer appear in the UI.
Comments remain visible and correctly associated with their transactions, even after the page is refreshed or revisited.
Users are prevented from entering comments beyond the character limit. Any attempt to exceed the limit is blocked immediately.
No errors occur—invalid text simply cannot be saved until reduced to within limits.
Once this setting is enabled the user will have access to Pay Type Group Maintenance
EziClassic – Site QR Codes enhancements
• Ability to create new QR Codes
Managers can now generate a new, unique QR code for any site as needed.
When a new QR code is created, the previous one is invalidated based on the date selected in the “Effective From” field.
The date can only be a future date and not current day.
The old QR Code will be valid until 00:00:01 on the “Effective From” date.
Print Company name as part of QR Code
A new option to include the Company name in the printed QR code has been added. This option resolves the issue of multiple company QR codes on one site by identifying to which company the QR code is associated with.
