Issue:
You're unable to add hours for an employee due to an overlapping timesheet entry, even though no conflict should exist.

Solution:

This issue is usually caused by a long time entry in the system that spans multiple days or weeks, creating a conflict.

It often occurs when Ezitracker is used in multiple browser tabs, which can lead to session and cookie limitations. To avoid this:

  • Use only one tab when working in Ezitracker.

  • Avoid switching between tabs while editing timesheets.

How to Fix the Issue:

  1. Locate the Overlapping Entry
    Identify the long or incorrect time entry causing the conflict.

  2. Correct or Remove the Entry
    Edit or delete the problematic entry to clear the overlap.

  3. Re-enter the New Shift
    Once the conflict is resolved, try adding the new hours again.

Resolving the overlapping entry should allow you to proceed with adding shifts as normal.
