What number do I send the text to?
Send the 8-digit code to 07860041697.
Note: This number is chargeable at your mobile network provider’s standard rate.
Will I get confirmation of a successful login or logout?
By default, confirmation texts are not sent. This can be enabled, but may incur additional charges.
On a double-up visit, do both employees need to send a text?
Yes, each employee must send their own text message.
What if no numbers are displayed on the Verify device?
After pressing the CODE button, if no 8-digit code appears, return the device to your Head Office. They can arrange a replacement through Ezitracker.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the text free?
No. Texts to 07860041697 are charged at your mobile provider’s rate.
What if I forget to log in or out?
Contact your Ezitracker Administrator. They can manually update your timesheet so you can continue using the Verify device.
Can I save the text and send it later?
No. The 8-digit code is time-sensitive. Sending it later will result in a mismatch and may cause errors in your timesheet.
What if I get it wrong?
You may receive an error message if the text is incorrect or the device is not set up properly.
Ezitracker Verify Device Overview
The Verify device allows employees to log work hours at sites without landlines. It should be kept on-site, at room temperature, and easily accessible.
Verify Device Process
Press the CODE button on the top of the device.
An 8-digit code will display.
Send a text message with the 8-digit code to 07860041697.
Ezitracker will verify the mobile number and decode the message to log the time and site.
Log In Sequence
On arrival, press the CODE button.
Send the displayed 8-digit code via SMS to 07860041697.
Log Out Sequence
On departure, press the CODE button again.
Send the new 8-digit code via SMS to 07860041697.
Note: The code is valid for 1 minute. If it expires, press the CODE button again to generate a new one. Do not mix digits from different codes.
Verify Device Enhancement: Denote Login or Logout
You can now specify login or logout by adding a suffix to the code:
