Ezitracker: Employee Cannot Use the Mobile App and the Site Has No Phone

Explore alternative options when an employee can't use the mobile app or a site phone to log in.

Solution

If an employee is unable to log in using the mobile app and the site does not have a phone, there are a few alternative options:

  1. Team Login/Logout
    If another employee on-site has access to the mobile app, they can use the Team Login/Logout feature to log in on behalf of the employee.

  2. Manual Timesheet Entry
    You can manually enter the employee’s working hours via their Timesheet in the system.

  3. Install a GSM Phone or Biometric Device
    Consider installing a GSM SIM phone or a biometric device at the site to enable reliable clock-in/out functionality.
