Ezitracker: Employees cannot login using the site phone

Description: The site phone won't allow PIN entry. Employees cannot login using the site phone.

Issue

Employees are unable to log in using the site phone. The PIN entry is not working, even though the correct number is being dialled.


Solution

If this issue is isolated to one site, and the same 0800 or 0808 number is working at other locations, it is most likely a hardware issue with the site phone.


βœ… Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Confirm the login process
    Ensure employees are following the correct steps to log in using the site phone.

  2. Try the backup number
    Have employees call the backup number to test if it works as expected.

    • If the backup number works, use it for that site going forward.

    • If the backup number also fails, the site phone may need to be replaced.
