How to Set a Geofence Tolerance in EziClassic

Set a geofence tolerance in Ezitracker (EziClassic) to control when alerts are triggered based on employee location.

If you want to receive alerts only when employees are outside a specific range from the site location, this article can provide you with the information you need to achieve this.

Step-by-step Guide

To set a geofence tolerance, follow these steps below:

  1. Click on Navigator.

  2. Click on Site Details.

  3. Enter the site address.

    • Street No. and Name and Postcode are required.

  4. Click Geo Code This Site.

  5. Click Get Co-ordinates.

  6. Enter the tolerance in meters.

  7. Click Save.

📌Note: If the tolerance is set to zero, alerts will still be sent, but yellow geofence numbers will not appear on the timesheet.

Always check that the Address link and the Geo-code link in the Site co-ordinates box are matching. If not you can manually adjust the latitude and longitude and then print out a new QR code.
