An employee appears to be far outside the geofence zone, despite being at the correct site, if this is what you are seeing then this article can advice you on the next steps.
What to do next
Ezitracker calculates geofence breaches using the GPS location reported by the employee’s mobile device. A large breach (e.g. 4000+ meters) may be caused by inaccurate GPS data sent from the device.
To troubleshoot:
Confirm the Employee’s Location
Ensure the employee is physically at the correct site.Check the Device’s GPS Functionality
Make sure location services are enabled.
Confirm the device has a clear signal (avoid enclosed or underground areas).
Restart the device if needed.
