Ezitracker: User cannot register for the app and getting error: Failed to register

Description: Employees are having trouble registering on the app. It just says "Failed to register".

Issue

When trying to register for the Ezitracker mobile app, users receive a "Failed to register" error message.


Solution

This error usually occurs when required user details are missing or incorrectly entered.

Please check the following:

  1. Employee Details

    • Ensure the date of birth is entered.

    • Ensure the mobile number is present and formatted correctly: it must begin with +447.

  2. Registration Input

    • Confirm the user is entering the correct:

      • Ezitracker Account Number

      • Employee Number

      • Date of Birth

  3. If the device needs unlinking, once support has done this, then they may advise that the Employee needs to re-register.
